We've dialed up our Market Sentiment card to keep you in the loop more effectively than ever. Here's what you'll find on Fey's homepage with your upgraded "What's happening today" card:

Accessing your feed is a breeze. Simply click "For You" at the top right of the page headers, or just press `Y` anytime to dive in.
This update is part of our commitment to making Fey more intuitive and effective for your financial journey.
Starting this week, our newsletter will be delivered to every Fey customer's inbox every Monday morning. It's designed to provide a straightforward, efficient overview of your financial interests.
At the heart of our newsletter is a combination of GPT-driven content, news APIs for the latest updates, and pricing APIs for accurate market data. This blend of technology ensures that the information you receive is not only timely but also highly relevant and personalized.
As market enthusiasts, we understand the routine: find a ticker, take a screenshot of its chart, and share it—a process that is both time-consuming and lacks finesse. We're thrilled to roll out Fey's latest feature to address this.
Instant Chart Generation: With a single click, Fey now generates and copies a beautiful chart of your chosen timeframe to your clipboard, all in under 100ms.
In our quest to continually improve your news-reading experience, we're excited to announce significant enhancements to Fey's news section. With a focus on precision and efficiency, we've reworked the general news tab and introduced an "Events News" feature.
We're committed to not just keeping you informed but enhancing the way you consume news. With these updates, Fey continues to redefine the standard for news aggregation and presentation.
We've all been there — sifting through lengthy and tedious SEC filings, with some (including myself) often skipping them. Recognizing this challenge, we're excited to roll out "Analyze", a feature that simplifies this process, delivering the core insights in a succinct, 2-minute read.
This feature is tailored for efficiency and ease of use. We've ensured that every piece of essential information from the 10-Q files is included, yet organized in a manner that's consistently easy to read and understand. This approach aims to encourage more people to develop the habit of reading such important files.
Looking ahead, “Analyze” will continue to expand while keeping its core simplicity in mind. We’ll soon be rolling out news digests, peer analysis, and more — always focused on providing simple, quick, and accurate insights.
Understanding that in-depth financial modeling requires both accuracy and efficiency, this update aims to improve your workflow. We’re introducing “Model with Excel,” designed to automate data preparation so you can focus on making informed financial predictions.
Here’s what’s packed into this update:
To use this feature, simply hit ⌘K and look for "Model with Excel," or navigate to any financial page and click on the Excel icon located in the top-right corner.
We know how crucial it is to have all the info you need at your fingertips. This update aims to give you a more complete picture of a stock's financial health, all in one place, so this update includes:
To take advantage of these new features, simply head over to a stock page and scroll down to the earnings section. If you spot an upcoming earnings report you don't want to miss, just press 'B' to add it to your calendar. Want to listen to current or previous earnings calls? Click the play button, and you're all set.
But it's not just about features; we've also fine-tuned the user experience. It's now keyboard-friendly, allowing you to effortlessly navigate between windows with a simple press of the W key. Plus, you can access stock information, news, and financials directly from the widget.
Due to a config error in our cron jobs, some system-level overrides weren't allowed. Specifically, we couldn't override the properties `[core]num_years_history` and `[core]num_quarters_history`, which caused a bug in our processing pipeline. This glitch messed up the financial data flow for our instruments (symbols) and led to missing annual financial info for years before 2020 in the 'Annual' tab.
Our team is committed to continuous improvement, and these updates reflect our ongoing dedication to delivering a product that’s not only feature-rich but also high-performing and customer-friendly.
Today is the day we've been waiting for – Fey has finally graduated from its beta stage! This isn't just another update; it represents the culmination of our commitment our customers, and our readiness to welcome everyone — sans waitlist.
Over the past several months, we've been diligently refining Fey, incorporating feedback, squashing bugs, and streamlining our onboarding process. Our relentless pursuit of perfection has led us to this milestone, and it's all thanks to you. 🖤
Quality has always been our guiding principle, and to uphold this, we've introduced several enhancements. After careful examination of user behavior, we realized a significant portion of our beta users were not trading through Fey. As a result, we've made the decision to remove broker sync, which had its fair share of challenges due to the inconsistent quality of broker APIs.
But fear not! This shift allows us to zero in on what we do best — equipping you with advanced market analysis and research tools. We're pouring our resources into continually refining existing features and introducing new ones that will empower you to be an even more informed investor.
As Fey continues to grow, we want you to know that your voice will always be our compass. We're committed to delivering a product you love and trust, and to make this news even sweeter, we've got a surprise for you. To celebrate our launch, we've decided to slash our subscription price in half. From $60/month to a mere $30/month.
And if you’re still not sure if Fey is for you, you can try it free for 7 days. Cancel anytime!
This new chapter is overflowing with excitement, and we're thrilled you're with us for the ride. Every update, every milestone, you'll hear about it here. And if you know someone else who could benefit from Fey, there's never been a better time to spread the word!
Thank you for your belief in us. Here's to a bright future together!
Insider trading information is a valuable resource for investors. This is because company insiders – think top executives or shareholders with significant stakes – typically have in-depth knowledge about their organization's performance and prospects. When these insiders buy or sell their company's shares, they do so based on their belief in the company's future performance.
This is where our enhanced insider reports pages come in handy. The improved filtering and color-coded symbols allow you to track and interpret this insider trading activity more easily, leading to more informed investment decisions. As always, we strive to equip you with the most accurate and accessible financial information, so you can invest confidently.
Our passwordless authentication system is designed to provide enhanced security and a better user experience. You can log in to Fey using just your email address, and we'll send you a unique link to access your account. This eliminates the risks associated with poor password choices and management, as well as the frustration of forgotten passwords. Our magic links expire after 5 minutes, and we display the location from where the authentication link was requested for additional transparency and security.
We’ve also put significant effort into crafting the design and user experience of our authentication system. From the email design to the subtle animations, making the process more engaging and intuitive.
With the latest update, searching within our app is more intuitive and efficient than ever before.
Firstly, we've eliminated unnecessary clicks and navigation by automatically replacing the current page with the selected result. This means that you can quickly and easily find what you're looking for without having to navigate back and forth.
Additionally, our search now takes into account where you are in the app and offers contextual results. For example, if you're viewing a company profile, the search suggestions will include the company's peers.
To access the search command, you can press from anywhere within the app.
Our team has worked hard to incorporate high-quality vector logos to enhance the user experience of our customers. These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to providing polished design and functionality. Each logo is carefully crafted in high definition and updated to conform to the respective company's latest branding guidelines.
At the beginning of this year, we required all Fey users to participate in onboarding calls. However, we recognized that these calls can be time-consuming, so we re-designed our onboarding process to be more self-service oriented. This allows our customers to quickly get up to speed without the need for personalized assistance.
Fey emphasizes seamless keyboard navigation, but we also invest considerable effort in ensuring comprehensive mouse accessibility. However, we discovered that some users were unable to access certain pages due to the subtle nature of our buttons. To address this issue, we have introduced distinct icons for each section and incorporated user-friendly, clickable buttons for a more intuitive mouse navigation experience.
To access the Insider reports data sheet for an asset, you have two options. Firstly, you can search for the asset, open its page, and scroll down to the middle of the page where you will find the "Insider reports" section. Here, you can click on the Insider icon on the right side to open the data sheet.
Alternatively, you can simply highlight an asset and press the key on your keyboard
While we remain focused on our other assets, it's clear that crypto has become a global phenomenon, with more than 44.15 million accounts now holding at least a non-zero balance of Bitcoin. To better serve our customers, we're now offering the ability to view your crypto positions without needing to leave Fey.
Insider transactions are important for several reasons. First, they can provide insights into how insiders view the company's prospects. For example, if a CEO or director buys a significant amount of stock, it may signal that they have confidence in the company's future and believe that the stock is undervalued.
By monitoring insider transactions, investors can gain insights into the company's financial performance, strategic plans, and potential risks, which can help them make more informed investment decisions.
Effective onboarding is crucial to introducing our users to a new product. While our team aims to connect with customers and demonstrate how to leverage Fey for maximum benefit, we understand that busy schedules may hinder the ability to schedule onboarding calls. To address this, we have developed a self-serve system that enables users to easily grasp the product's features and functionalities, without the need for a call. The self-serve system still provides direct access to our team through various channels such as Slack or in-app feedback, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention rates remain a top priority.
To access the Analyst estimates data sheet for an asset, you have two options. Firstly, you can search for the asset, open its page, and scroll down to the middle of the page where you will find the "Analyst estimates" section. Here, you can click on the Analyst estimates icon on the right side to open the data sheet.
Alternatively, you can simply highlight an asset and press the key on your keyboard
Analyst estimates are important for investors and companies because they provide a consensus view of what to expect in the future. For investors, analyst estimates can help inform investment decisions, including whether to buy, hold, or sell a particular stock. For companies, analyst estimates can help them understand market expectations and provide guidance on how to meet or exceed those expectations.
To access the peer analysis data sheet for an asset, you have two options. Firstly, you can search for the asset, open its page, and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will find the "Peer analysis" section. Here, you can click on the Peer analysis icon on the right side to open the data sheet.
Alternatively, you can simply highlight an asset and press the key on your keyboard.
Here are a few things to be excited about in the coming weeks:
Rather than relying on traditional pricing models or a standard feature-based pricing page, our focus is on demonstrating the value our customers can expect to receive from Fey. We prioritize communicating both the immediate and long-term benefits of our service, highlighting the key ways in which our data providers and partners contribute to that. By emphasizing the outcomes and advantages that customers can expect to see, we aim to make our subscription as clear as possible. You can see our pricing page here →
You may have observed that our homepage doesn't display your performance chart. Our rationale is that featuring a daily chart could potentially create misconceptions, as focusing solely on short-term performance may not promote optimal investment strategies. To better serve you, our homepage offers a comprehensive overview of the financial landscape, encompassing headlines, trending assets, and insights into your account balance and diversification.
Our customers can expect a seamless and distraction-free reading experience that is focused solely on delivering curated and high-quality news content. This is a great development for anyone who wants to stay informed without being constantly interrupted by irrelevant ads or misleading information.
Our market headlines provide a comprehensive view of the latest market developments and include a succinct explanation of why prices are moving. By condensing each headline into a single summary, our customers can easily filter out irrelevant noise and quickly gauge the overall sentiment of an asset.
At this stage, our main focus is on our customers, which involves talking to them and improving our offerings. So why divert our attention away from that? We've recognized that sharing updates fosters a greater exchange of ideas, valuable feedback, and even boosts signups, ultimately leading to increased usage of Fey. With this in mind, we dedicated a single day to build a streamlined solution using Sanity and NextJS. This approach empowers every team member to efficiently post updates and maintain our commitment to customer-centric growth.
